Peter EverittBE (Elec)Director & Principal DeveloperPeter has been involved in the development and maintenance of software systems for the past 30 years. He has extensive experience in Visual Basic .NET, ASP.NET, Visual Basic 6, C, C , Fortran, Microsoft Access, SQL Server and Reporting Services as well as in the support of Windows, Linux and Unix networks. He worked for many years as a researcher in the Australian raw sugar industry where he also gained considerable expertise in cane transport scheduling. |
Stewart McKinnonBAppSc (Maths & Computing)Director & Principal DeveloperStewart is a born and bred Mackay boy and he completed his senior education at St. Patrick's College Mackay. Stewart studied his Bachelor of Applied Science degree at the Central Queensland University where he majored in Mathematics and Computing. Following two years as an application programmer with the Department of Defence in Canberra, Stewart accepted a position at the Sugar Research Institute in Mackay. Stewart spent ten years with SRI, initially as a computer scientist and then in the role of Computer Services Manager. Stewart has extensive experience in computer and network support, programming in C, VB, VB.NET and SQL. |
John VellaBAppSc (Maths & Computing)Director & Business Development ManagerJohn started his IT career as a mature age student over 20 years ago and graduated with a Degree in Applied Science (Maths and Computing) with Distinction. He got his first IT Job at MEB (now Ergon Energy) at the very start of the PC era. John worked at MEB for six years as a software developer and IT Support Officer, gaining valuable experience working on large projects. He Left MEB to start his own local business (Veltech Computer Services) which he operated for thirteen years. He built a successful business based principally on personal service and value for money but attributes long-term success to good quality and loyal clients, many of whom supported the business for over ten years. In early 2008, John decided to merge his business with iScape to form a complete, one-stop shop for professional IT Services in Mackay and district. |
Neil Young

Director & Principal Developer
After completing University, Neil held a brief stint as a lecturer with Central Queensland University. He then moved to Mackay in 1999 to start his professional career. A number of years and a few sugar related Analyst/Programmer positions later he joined the team at iScape. Neil has worked on a large number of projects over the years, from supporting and maintaining pre-existing applications right through to architecting and implementing new applications through the entire software development life cycle. Neil is a specialist in .Net development for the Windows and Web platforms. Neil has also acted as a development DBA on a large number of projects and specialises in SQL Server including it's spatial functionality.
In 2010 Neil moved to Brisbane to better service iScape's metropolitan based clients.

Stephen ClarksoniScape.Services ManagerStephen came to us from C.Q.University after 6 years as technical support officer. Stephen started his career in Dunedin, New Zealand at Otago University in 1987. As personal computer applications and networking overtook circuit design , Stephen an electronics engineer, moved to supporting network solutions for universities and small to medium businesses over the last 15 years. Twelve years ago Stephen had a job offer and moved to Australia to support a local IT firm. Stephen was also branch manager for Ipex here in Mackay before moving to C.Q.University. Stephen is married to Trudy and has 2 girls who are 5 and 21 months. Stephen loves a challenge, and looks forward to being able to help you move forward in your business. |

Peter GoodworthSenior Services EngineerPeter has enjoyed living in the Mackay area his entire life. He has strong family ties to the area, as well as being a family man himself. He has been married to wife Natasha since 2002 and they have three young sons. Peter first started working in the IT industry for local company Cross Business Equipment, specialising in integrating office equipment into small business networks, as well as IP connected Point of Sale systems. Since then Peter has worked for other local IT companies, including Mackay Computer Services, gaining exposure to the workings of maintaining an ISP. Along with maintaining the networks of several local businesses in town, Peter has enjoyed working on a variety of IT projects in the area, including Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity planning, deploying an IP TV network with over 250 nodes , migrating physical server infrastructure to clustered virtual environments and deploying wireless mesh networks.
Peter thoroughly enjoys finding the right IT solutions for small businesses to help them reach their goals. |
 Andrew BrockhurstBIT Developer  Andrew joined iScape in July 2007 when given the opportunity for hands-on experience to jumpstart his career in the IT industry while completing his University studies. In 2010 he graduated from CQU Mackay with a Bachelor of Information Technology Degree (with Distinction), receiving both the Faculty and Graduation Medals for outstanding academic achievements. He finished his senior education at Mirani State High School, initially desiring a prosperous career in Finance Management but – after a few months off study – soon realised his keen interest in many areas of Information Technology, including Software Development. As a Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist, Andrew is always eager to gain knowledge and experience new software technologies and development techniques. With a keen interest in all aspects of Information Technology in general, he hopes to further develop valuable practical skills while under the experienced leadership of the iScape team. Andrew is committed to assisting the iScape team provide professional software development and IT support services to the community. |
Luke WiselyAssDipIT (Applied Computing)Office AdministratorLuke gained an interest in computers during high school and chose IT as his field of study upon graduating. Since completing his Associate Diploma in IT in 1996 he has worked primarily in customer service rolls within the Transport, IT, and Construction industries throughout Mackay. Through working within companies such as Ipex ITG, and Bluescope Steel he has kept up with the ever changing IT industry and looks forward to seeing future advancements still to come in IT and communications technology. |
Adrian PaullJunior Services EngineerAdrian joined iScape in May 2011 and has resided in Mackay most of his life. After completing his certificate 4 in Network Administration in 2004 Adrian has been employed by a number of IT companies in the Mackay region. He has experience with desktop PCs, printers and notebooks in business environments. He is very enthusiastic in all endevours, and looks forward to supporting you with your IT requirements. |
